PIT encourages teachers to be mentors and friends rather than teachers. Our faculty members guarantee the basic objective of quality education through interactive teaching, counselling, multicriteria evaluation and constant feedback, teachers are committed to evolve the method of learner centric education and students are encouraged to think independently to find their own solutions.

We encourage relaxation from intense academic workload through participation in diverse co-curricular activities. Cultural programmes such as Freshers’ Welcome, Farewell of outgoing students, Annual Social Functions, Rabindra Jayanti etc. are organized by teachers and students, Cultural Competitions are held regularly and achievers are sent for inter- college competitions. Students of the PIT also participate in District and State Level Competitions.

For overall development of students’ personality, PIT provides ample scope and sufficient motivation to the students in the field of academics, culture and sports, Seminars are also organised by the Mahavidyalaya.

PIT has an Academic Council for smooth running of its activities on the basis of suggestions made by teachers in regular meetings.
